Available equipment

FAIT Rent: equipment available for operational rental. This range is selected to support continuity, safety and efficiency on site, from small jobs to major infrastructure projects.

Generator

A generator converts thermal energy into electrical energy and provides continuous or emergency power where there is no grid connection or during a power cut. To use it, place it on a flat, stable surface, preferably outdoors so exhaust fumes can disperse; check the fuel and start the engine. Connect tools, machinery or site systems to the dedicated control-panel sockets. It is intended for construction sites starting work before an ENEL connection is available, event organisers powering stages, stands or outdoor lighting, and healthcare or industrial facilities that need a backup system.

Traffic-light system, with or without batteries

This mobile worksite traffic-light kit manages alternating one-way traffic and includes high-visibility signal heads. It is available as a unit without batteries or as a complete configuration with 80/100 Ah batteries and a Telwin professional charger. Place the lights at each end of the roadwork area; the synchronisation controller, often quartz-based, adjusts red and green intervals according to the road section length and expected traffic speed. The Telwin charger keeps batteries ready for repeated use. It is intended for road contractors carrying out asphalt, excavation or signage work; local authorities managing landslides and sudden road narrowing; and pruning crews working alongside roads.

Site cabins, 3, 4, 5 and 6 metres

These prefabricated, insulated modular units are available in lengths of 3, 4, 5 and 6 metres. After preparing the base, a crane truck transports and positions the cabin at the required location; it can then be used as a technical office, changing room, canteen or equipment store. Air conditioning is an optional extra on all models, and a bathroom is available for the 6-metre model. They are intended for large construction sites needing site-management offices or changing rooms; storage areas protecting materials from weather or theft; and temporary events requiring ticket offices or information points.

Floor saw / asphalt cutter

A robust machine with a diamond blade, designed to cut hard horizontal surfaces such as asphalt, reinforced concrete and industrial flooring. The operator pushes it along a marked cutting line. Adjustable cutting depth allows joints to be cut into screed or precise trenches to be made without damaging the surrounding surface. It is intended for contractors installing fibre-optic or utility services and flooring specialists cutting technical joints.

Vertical rammer and vibrating plate

Also known as a jumping-jack rammer, this is a compact impact machine. The vertical rammer is suited to small trenches, such as those for fibre optics; the vibrating plate is suited to compacting asphalt and larger areas. The operator holds the handle and guides the machine as its percussive motion applies pressure to the ground. It helps reduce the risk of settlement after a trench is backfilled. It is intended for companies excavating for pipes, sewers, ducts and fibre optics, and for gardeners preparing a base before laying interlocking pavers.

Scarifier

This machine has a rotating drum fitted with tungsten-carbide tools and removes the first millimetres or centimetres from a surface. Run it over flooring to remove old adhesives, paint or road markings, or to roughen smooth concrete before a new pour.

Industrial vacuum

A high-powered machine for extracting fine, including hazardous, dust, rubble and work residues. It can be connected directly to power tools such as grinders, wall chasers and core drills for dust-controlled work, or used for final worksite cleaning.

Petrol cut-off saw

A powerful portable tool with a petrol engine and cutting disc. It is used by hand to cut hard construction materials on site, such as kerbs, concrete blocks, metal pipes or stone, especially where electricity is unavailable.

Floor grinder

A machine for finishing concrete, resin or wooden floors. It removes imperfections, uneven areas or old treatments; the operator guides it over the surface until it is level and ready for the next treatment.

Core drill, dry and wet

Dry and wet core drills are available.
