Plastic New Jersey barrier
The plastic New Jersey road barrier measures 100 × 70 cm (length × height) and is used to demarcate work areas, roadworks, temporary routes and events. It is made from LLDPE polyethylene, which is lightweight and resistant.

What a road barrier is and what it is used for
The plastic barrier follows the “New Jersey” profile for traffic management and passive safety. It is easy to move when empty and stable when filled with water or sand. It can demarcate roadworks and excavations, channel vehicle and pedestrian traffic, create routes at events and fairs, separate areas in car parks or industrial facilities, and protect areas affected by emergencies or temporary works.
Key characteristics
Material: LLDPE polyethylene, resistant to weather, impact and UV rays. Dimensions: 100 cm long, 40 cm deep at the base and 70 cm high. Empty weight: approximately 7 kg for easier manual handling. Colours: red and white for daytime and night-time visibility. Ballast: caps allow the barrier to be filled with water or sand to increase its weight and stability. Storage: barriers can be stacked to reduce transport and storage space. Connection: designed to interlock and create continuous, stable demarcations.
Benefits for professionals
The low weight makes transport and installation easier; the stackable design reduces logistics and installation time and costs.
